新石器時代の燧石矢じり、ピット・ウェア文化、デンマーク
紀元前3500年〜紀元前2300年
デンマークのピットウェア文化に帰属する、優れた新石器時代の燧石矢じり。暗灰色の燧石を打ち砕いて作られ、自然に淡い色の変化を含む。矢じりは細長い葉形の Profil e を持ち、尖った先端と先細りの基部を備える。両面には丁寧に剥離痕が形成され、中央の脊と本体に沿って重なり合うファセットが連なる。
矢じりは考古学的には良好な状態で、年齢に伴う表面の擦れ、縁のわずかな不揃い、時折の小さな欠けが見られるものの、独特の形状と明確に見える剥離パターンを保っている。
北欧の新石器時代の石器職人技の魅力的な例で、先史の武器、北欧の古物、あるいは考古学的石器遺物の収集家に最適。
