Artwork Overview:

Every eye is the entrance to a country no one else can fully visit.

Four crowned beings occupy the same golden space, yet each appears to inhabit a different reality. On the left, a slender figure rises like a ceremonial flame. Beside it, a screen-shaped head watches through a red-centred eye while a mechanical row of teeth floats below. The central character reveals an interior filled with chambers, symbols and hidden passages. On the right, a dark profile turns away, its enormous blue-rimmed eye still quietly observing.

In Inner Kingdoms, ARVY explores the private worlds created by perception. Although every character possesses a single eye, no two gazes are alike. Memory, desire, fear and imagination transform the same surroundings into entirely different experiences. The crowns therefore suggest more than status: each figure is the solitary ruler of an invisible inner territory.

Warm ochre and cream give the composition an almost ancient atmosphere, while black silhouettes provide monumental weight. Crimson, cobalt blue, violet and acidic green appear as vivid signals across the restrained ground. Repetition creates rhythm, yet irregular proportions and instinctive neo-expressionist marks protect each figure’s individuality.

The painting speaks about the beautiful distance that remains between people, even when they stand close together. These characters do not need to see the world identically. They remind us how extraordinary it is that separate inner kingdoms can meet at all.

Artist Bio:
ARVY is a fourth-generation artist continuing a family legacy of visual and performance art. He studied painting at an art college, graduating in 2016, and has been active in the art world ever since.

Raised in a creative household, ARVY began his artistic path in childhood while assisting his father — painter, illusionist and performer Arvydas Gaičiūnas ( Retne ), co-founder of Magic Theater DiArchy. This early exposure to both visual art and stage performance shaped his distinctive, theatrical sensibility.

ARVY’s work is eclectic and emotionally charged, blending elements of contemporary expressionism, symbolism, street energy, and poetic abstraction. His pieces explore contrasts — chaos and harmony, intuition and control — reflecting the pulse of modern life through vivid color and raw gesture.

He has exhibited internationally and his works are held in private collections across Europe. Beyond painting, ARVY is also known for his creative versatility as a musician and digital creator, bringing the same intensity and imagination to sound, movement, and image.
