これは中世のナイフ（しばしば Vlaams mes または eettafelmes と呼ばれる）で、約1500年頃（後半の15世紀あるいは初頭の16世紀）の日付です。
寸法: 18.7 x 1.9 x 0.8 cm
重さ: 30.45 g
コンディション: 修復済み - 保存状態
- 二つの部に分かれて発見された（銘冠は刃と離れていた）。これを元に戻して取り付けた。
- 刃身には製作者マークが存在する
刃身について: 鉄製または鋼製のブレードで、鋭い刃と細く先が尖った先端を持つ。この種の刃には、鍛冶の小さな痕やスタンプ（“家紋”に相当）が押されていることが多い。
柄について: ハンドルは木製の板2枚（ハンドルプレート）からなり、銅または真鍮のリベット（見える金色の点）で連続した金属のエース（シャンク）に固定されている。
ヒールバンドとポムル: ハンドルの先頭と末端には銅合金（ブロンズまたは真鍮）の装飾部品が付く。エンドキャップ（ポムル）には典型的な幾何学模様や彫刻風の中世風モチーフが現れている。
