"Luna" は、最も recogniz able な私の肖像の1つで、数多くの賞を受けています。その中でも特筆すべきは、2023年の International Color Awards での Gold 受賞です。イタリアのジェノバで撮影され、すべてを現場で完結させた作品です。Old Masters に対して不敬と現代的なひねりを加えるために生み出された肖像です。私の特徴的な不条理的アプローチで、古典的な肖像画の荘厳さを借り、その最もあり得ない材料を用いて再創造します。郵便用封筒は華美な袖へ、ビーチマットは豪華なドレスへ、そして単純なプラスチックさえも豪華さの雰囲気をまといます。個々の要素はどれも最も普通の物。しかしそれらを組み合わせると、思いがけなく荘厳で、贅沢と不条理の境界線をぼやかす、驚くほど素晴らしい作品になります。

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Elena Paraskeva の作品は機関や企業のコレクションに所蔵されており、スウェーデン公共美術部（Västra Götaland Government）、アメリカ・ボストン病院（子どものがんウィングの入り口にある大型500cmの設置）、オーストラリア国立大学、Thalassa Museum、Affinity（Serif）、その他の機関・企業のコレクションが含まれます。

彼女の作品は、ブリュッセルの欧州議会、フローレンス・ビエンナーレなどの主要ビエンナーレ、NYC・パリ・東京・ロンドン・ドバイ・サンパウロ（ブラジル）・ウィーン・バルセロナ・ミュンヘン・クアラルンプール・フランクフルト・マラガ・リンツ・グラーツ・シエナ等のギャラリーで展示されています。

2026年には、Christopher Morris（TIME Magazineと長年ともに過ごしホワイトハウスを9年間担当）と Magnum の写真家 Alec Soth という写真界の伝説的存在の2名により、受賞/展示を選出されました。

彼女は four different international photographic societies によって、International Photographer of the Year（2024/2023/2021/2018）に選出されています。

Hasselblad Masters、World Masters of Photography、LensCulture、Aesthetica、Prix de la Photographie Paris、International Photography Awards（IPA）、Neutral Density Awards などから国際的な評価と主要賞を受賞しています。

2021年以降、FLORIDA MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS の審査員を務め、Fotografiska Museum と東京芸術写真美術館のキュレーターとともに審査を行い、年々複数の国際写真コンペティションの審査員も務めています。かつてはAdobe の講師・アンバサダーでもありました。

彼女の写真は Smithsonian Magazine、The Guardian（英国・オーストラリア版）、The Times、Vogue.it、Aesthetica、LensCulture、PDN、Photography Masterclass ほか、多数の国際誌に掲載されています。
