Rare grand vase by Emile Gallé from the Art Nouveau period, a cuit-au-feu glass piece in the Nancy family glassworks, an iridescent multilayer glass soliflore tinted through the mass with an acid-engraved violet clematis motif on a nacreous background, signed ‘Gallé’ 1910 in cameo, height 30 cm, width 11 cm, depth 11 cm, violet colour, in good condition with minimal wear on the neck, provenance: private collection from a château in southern France.
