Description from the seller
SAMIA KERKENI — DESTINY BRIDGE — 2026
Unique original abstract painting · 50 × 50 cm ·
Two worlds of colour meet in Destiny Bridge: a luminous turquoise and blue current above, a vibrant field of crimson, rose, burgundy and white below. Between them, a golden passage becomes the composition’s defining gesture — a bridge connecting contrasting energies.
Deep black passages intensify the luminous colours, while metallic-gold accents punctuate the surface. Vertical flows and layered pigments guide the eye through a composition that suggests both movement and balance. From a distance, the work reveals its striking chromatic structure; closer viewing invites attention to the fluid transitions and intricate interactions of colour.
Working with mixed media and pouring techniques, Samia Kerkeni brings deliberate composition into dialogue with the spontaneous movement of fluid materials. Here, transformation becomes a visual experience: colours encounter one another, boundaries soften, and separate territories become part of a shared journey.
A handwritten inscription on the reverse extends this reflection:
“What you believe, you become. Your future is already moving toward you.”
