Description from the seller
HANDCRAFTED ISIDIDAE AND SARDINIAN CORAL NECKLACE
925 STERLING SILVER – 48 CM – 37.5 G
An elegant and distinctive coral necklace, entirely handcrafted and individually assembled by Perna Laboratorio Orafo in Torre del Greco, Naples, Italy, a historic centre internationally associated with the traditional processing of coral and precious organic materials.
The necklace presents a sophisticated decorative composition created from polished coral beads in two different sizes.
The principal strand is composed of approximately 7 mm spherical beads identified in the trade as Isididae coral. Smaller spherical beads, measuring approximately 4 mm, form a sequence of graceful suspended loops that give the necklace movement, volume and a refined ornamental character.
At the centre is a polished drop-shaped pendant identified as Sardinian coral, measuring approximately 10 × 7 mm. Its warm natural tone and softly rounded form create an elegant focal point while maintaining the visual harmony of the complete composition.
The necklace is mounted with 925 sterling silver components. The “925” hallmark is clearly visible in the accompanying macro photographs.
Every element was selected, threaded, assembled and finished by hand. This is not a standard mass-produced item: the construction reflects authentic artisanal workmanship, including the subtle variations and individual characteristics naturally associated with handmade jewelry and organic materials.

These variations contribute to the unique character of the necklace and should not be regarded as manufacturing defects.

High-resolution and macro photographs have been provided to document the overall design, coral surfaces, decorative loops, central pendant, metal components, clasp, construction details and visible 925 hallmark.
Close-up photography may make minor natural characteristics, reflections or surface variations appear more pronounced than they are when the necklace is viewed normally with the naked eye.
The photographs form an essential and integral part of the description. Prospective buyers are kindly requested to examine every image carefully before bidding.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Coral is a natural organic material. Natural variations in colour, tone, shape, surface texture, polish and internal or external characteristics are normal and are part of the identity of the material.
The coral classifications stated in this description are based on the commercial identification, professional assessment and information available to the seller. The necklace is not accompanied by an independent gemological laboratory report; therefore, the stated identifications must not be interpreted as laboratory certification of species, geographical origin or treatment status.
No claim is made regarding characteristics that cannot be directly verified from the photographs or the available documentation.
Due to the organic nature of coral, import, export and customs regulations may vary according to the destination country. Buyers, particularly those located outside the European Union, are responsible for checking the regulations applicable in their country before bidding.
Shipment will be carried out only where legally permitted and in accordance with the applicable transport and customs requirements. Any customs duties, import taxes, permits or additional charges required by the destination country remain the responsibility of the buyer.
