中世初期のペンダント — 西暦9–11世紀
三つの円形の開口部、大きく湾曲した本体、長い吊り紐の輪、丸みを帯びた下端を備えたこの独特なペンダントは、素朴な形と力強い視覚的存在感を組み合わせています。
二つの開口部が並んで中央の第三部と並置され、デザインの中心に均整の取れた構図を形成します。象徴的に読めば、この三重の配置は unity（統一）、バランス、精神的な保護を喚起し、ティアリスタンのような印象を与えます。
曲線を描く側面が中央の開口部を縁取り、胴は丸みを帯びた端部へと細くなります。わずかな非対称と不規則な縁が、物体の個性的な特徴を際立たせます。
暗いパティナ、表面の摩耗の明るい部分、局所的な酸化は表面に奥行きを与えます。表面の質感が前面で、裏面は比較的無地で、異なる表情を見せます。
