この雅やかなテラコッタの器は、ゆとりのある球形の胴体を特徴とし、やや張り出した円筒形の首と、肩から首の上部へとつながる左右対称の二つの側取っ手を備えています。その形は、古代近東で広く見られるタイプに典型的で、液体や農産物の貯蔵・輸送と関連づけられています。
表面には豊かな patina（ patina）と虹色の色調、摩耗の跡が見られます。これらの色彩の変化は、黄土色・金色・土色系の色味を含み、作品に視覚的な深みと風格を与えています。
