バルサマリウムの本体は涙滴形または洋梨形で、内容量を最大化するために広がった底を持つ。長く円筒形の首は、一滴ずつの注入を制御しやすくする。先端は平らで広がった縁で、蝋・コルク・布栓のいずれかで封をするように設計されている。空気吹きガラス技法を用いて製造され、これにより軽量でありながら耐久性のあるこれらの容器を大量生産できるようになった、ローマの技術革新の産物である。
これらのボトルは、日常のローマ生活において香水・化粧品・薬用油を入れるのに欠かせないものであった。墓所の副葬品として非常に一般的に見つかるのは、葬送儀式のために故人とともに香気成分を含ませて安置されたためである。

The pieces we offer come from the Ifergan Collection Museum, which guarantees their historical value and quality. Our goal is to bring authentic archaeological pieces to both collectors and those who wish to start collecting, offering original works for different budgets and always with the maximum guarantees.
