昭和期の日本製六曲屏風（風炉屏風）で、六面すべてに金色の仕上げが施されたシンプルな表面を特徴とします。正面は金箔ではなく、金色の塗料で仕上げられた布張りで、各パネルごとに微妙な色味の変化を生み出す、温かな反射光が魅力的です。
控えめで装飾を抑えたデザインにより、金色の表面そのものが主な視覚要素となっています。屏風は黒漆塗りの木枠と金属金具で縁取られ、裏面は淡い青緑系の柄布で覆われています。
前面には経年による擦り傷、汚れ、小さな裂け、塗料の欠落が数カ所あります。裏面には裂け、変色、いくつかの小さなへこみがあります。黒漆塗りの木製フレームには小さな欠け・擦り傷があり、金具には錆が見られます。詳細は写真をご参照ください。
