Serie Ritmos

Contrastes explores the tension between opposing forces and the harmony that can emerge from their encounter. The figure, captured in a dynamic posture, seems to concentrate its energy in a moment of movement and balance. Its body, leaning forward, conveys strength, restraint, and determination, while the volume of the clothing introduces a sense of fluidity and expansion.

The intense red of the jacket and the orange tones of the skirt take the foreground against the deep blue of the background. This chromatic dialogue creates a visual tension that runs through the entire composition: heat versus calm, intensity versus serenity, the presence of the figure versus the spaciousness of the space around it. The orange circle that frames the character reinforces this duality and acts as a focal point of energy, creating a contrast between geometry and the organic movement of the forms.

The wavy lines of the skirt bring rhythm and dynamism, while the posture of the body and the direction of the gaze suggest introspection and concentration. The figure seems to inhabit its own space, suspended between action and pause, between effort and lightness. The blue shoes, in contact with the ground, introduce a note of stability that balances the visual strength of the whole.

Within the Ritmos series, this work invites us to contemplate movement as a relationship between forces, colors, and forms. The lines of the skirt, the incline of the body, and the chromatic opposition generate a visual cadence that guides the gaze across the canvas. The contrasts are not presented as a confrontation to be resolved, but as elements that complement each other and bring life to the composition.

Contrastes reminds us that balance does not always arise from uniformity, but from the coexistence of differences. As in music or dance, it is the variations, pauses, and tensions that build the rhythm and turn each movement into a unique expression.

Breve Bio: Me interesa especialmente crear composiciones que ofrezcan al espectador un punto de vista desde el que pueda identificarse. Ya sea a través de la incomodidad, la serenidad o la contemplación, mi intención es generar un espacio de reflexión y cuestionamiento. A nivel pictórico, me atraen los colores vibrantes, las saturaciones marcadas y las gamas cromáticas frescas.
Encuentro una gran fuente de inspiración en la observación de nuestro entorno social y natural. A menudo me gusta imaginar que observo el planeta desde muy lejos; esa distancia simbólica me permite replantear la realidad desde otra perspectiva. También exploro el universo de lo femenino, abordando sus múltiples dimensiones desde una mirada personal, sensible e introspectiva.
