Papua New Guinea

Tribal Art Kortmann was founded in 1985 and has grown specialized in the tribal art of Oceania and Southeast Asia. We have collected the majority of our objects from the tribes of Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, the Philippines and Indochina on site. Many other pieces, however, also come from museums, Private collections or from auctions and other sources. Rest assured that all of our properties are authentic and are of high quality and correspond to the descriptions. The shipping costs depend on the size and weight of the individual objects and the destination country and are to be inquired about in individual cases. You can also find works of art from us in the following museums: Museum of Ethnology, Berlin Linden Museum, Stuttgart Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum, Cologne Völkerkundemuseum, Heidelberg Forum of Nations, Werl Museum of Cultures, Basel Museum of Ethnology, Dresden Wereldmuseum, Rotterdam Barbier-Mueller Museum, Geneva Ethnographic Museum, Antwerps National Museum and Art Gallery, Port Moresby
