優れた装飾品質を備えた精緻なアンティークのくすみ絵蒔絵の印籠です。
本体は銅製で、細密な線金細工のくくり装飾（yusen shippo）を全面に施しています。濃いラピスブルーの地に、黄緑、薄紫、青、白、ボルドー系の花と蔓の巻物模様が密集して描かれ、表面のあらゆる箇所を覆い、未処理の面は残していません。
各箱の内側は素地色のエナメル仕上げです。
吊り紐を通すための紐通し穴（紐房通し）を両端に貫通させています。
