- material: Gilt and patinated white metal / spelter (régule), showing a beautiful authentic age-related wear where the base white metal subtly peaks through the original golden patina.
• This piece stands out due to its remarkably clever and intricate naturalistic design.
- At its focal point is the beautifully sculpted head of a young nymph ("Femme Fleur") displaying a serene facial expression and classic features, embedded within fluid, sinuous hair that forms the main body of the dish.
- A sophisticated anatomical integration shows both of her hands resting along the organic rim: the left hand is clearly visible in delicate relief, while the shape of the right hand can be beautifully traced just underneath the flowing lines of her hair.
- In the background, the dual circular structural handles are masterfully sculpted to represent an overarching botanical branch. In true Art Nouveau fashion, the blossoms inside the bowl conceptually "hang" from this very branch, creating a flawless narrative loop between the structural handles and the internal decoration.
