Grande Suspension "Fazzoletto" Ø61 cm en Verre de Murano — Décor Filigrane Blanc (Mezza Filigrana), Italie Années 1970/1980

Exceptionnel et rare plafonnier suspendu de taille XL (61 cm de diamètre), chef-d'œuvre de l'art verrier de l'île de Murano (Venise, Italie) datant de la période Mid-Century / années 1970-1980. Non signée (comme l'immense majorité des productions de cette époque qui ne portaient qu'une étiquette papier amovible), cette suspension arbore un style organique plissé spectaculaire rappelant le célèbre design Fazzoletto (mouchoir).
Le lustre a été soufflé à la bouche selon la technique traditionnelle complexe de la mezza filigrana : des centaines de fines cannes de verre opalin blanc sont capturées symétriquement à l'intérieur du cristal, créant un superbe mouvement tourbillonnant de vagues architecturales. Le col conique de la vasque est sublimé par une spirale de verre plein blanc en relief enroulée à chaud.

Grâce à la finesse du verre italien, l'abat-jour agit comme un excellent diffuseur. Lorsqu'il est allumé, il filtre la lumière en révélant la texture fascinante des lignes de filigrane, créant une ambiance chaleureuse, graphique et sans aucun éblouissement.
• État : Excellent état vintage. Le verre de Murano est impeccable, sans fêle, éclat, ni ébréchure majeure sur les bords ondulés ou la spirale.

Large "Fazzoletto" Ø61 cm Murano Glass Pendant Light — White Swirl Filigree (Mezza Filigrana), Italy 1970s/1980s
Description & Pedigree:
An exceptional and rare XL-sized (61 cm diameter) architectural pendant lamp, a masterpiece of glassblowing art from Murano (Venice, Italy) dating from the 1970s/1980s era. Unsigned, which is standard for Murano lighting of this period as they originally relied on removable paper stickers, this piece features a dramatic wavy silhouette in the iconic Fazzoletto (handkerchief) form.
The shade was mouth-blown using the complex traditional mezza filigrana technique, embedding hundreds of parallel fine white opal glass canes into the clear crystal to form a mesmerizing, swirling linear pattern. The conical neck is further embellished with a striking applied solid white glass spiral coil wrapping around the collar.
Lighting Features & Condition:
The Italian art glass functions as a magnificent organic light diffuser. When illuminated, the bulb highlights the intricate texture of the filigree lines, emitting a beautiful, soft, and highly elegant glare-free glow.
• Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The Murano glass is in pristine shape with no cracks, chips, or flea bites along the delicate ruffled rim or the outer spiral coil.
