A fine porcelain cup and saucer by Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM), hand-painted with a grisaille portrait of Frederick II of Prussia on the cup and an allegorical grey eagle with military symbols on the saucer, with gold detailing, dating circa 1850–1900; cup 7 cm wide, 6 cm deep, saucer 7 cm in diameter, weight 127 g, red underglaze KPM mark with blue sceptre and handwritten 125/436△, in excellent condition.
