A nice compartment made of mahogany shields the storm glass and the thermometer. There is a storm glass in which the form and structure of the camphor crystals forecast the weather. This instrument dates back to Admiral Fitzroy, Captain of the Beagle and the first meteorologist of England. Also there is a thermometer, which indicates Fahrenheit and Celsius. The texts are in English. Size: 460 mm x 115 x 70 mm. Condition: instrument is in practically new condition Will be safely packed and shipped by registered and insured mail.
