The Omega Museum Collection is a collection of Omega pieces, and the 1949 Racend Timer is a worthy member of this exclusive collection. Powered by a calibre Omega 3201 movement, it is controlled by a column wheel and offers 12 and 30 minute counters, as well as small seconds counter. The calibre also incorporates a free-sprung balance and Coaxial Omega Escapement. Only 1,949 pieces were produced. Presents brushed finishes on the sides, contrasted with polished elements on the upper parts. The silver dial presents a tachymeter scale and a pulsometer scale.
The varies elements, such as golden triangular hour figures, veneer pointers and the logo, recall the design of those much-loved, highly-collectible Omega vintage chronographs from the 1940s and 1950s.
