This extraordinary figurine of a wild boar was, according to the mark on the base, made in Germany by the porcelain factory of Heinz & Co./VEB Gräfenthaler Porzellanfiguren in Gräfenthal-Meernach, in the period 1954 - 1976.
No signs of any damage and in a perfect condition.
Porcelain animal figurines of wild boars are nowadays a very rare find. German porcelain has certainly created some very beautiful objects and made a name for itself.
