The French national flag, Le Tricolore, is recognizable in the left edge of the painting, referring to the painter's French heritage. The colour lithograph is in good condition and is part of the series "Les côtes Normandes" (the Normandy coasts). Raoul Dufy (1877-1953) was born in Le Havre in Normandy and studied at the École Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris before working in the studio of the French painter Leon Bonnat (1833-1922). Dimensions: Lithograph 34.5 x 44 cm and with frame 59 x 67 x 8 cm and weight 4 kg 400 The lot will be sent worldwide by PostNL International 3S service.
