Very decorative safe from the Carl Kästner company in Leipzig, founded 1846 As you can see on the company label, the manufacturer received countless prizes and designations for its high quality safes. This piece was extensively restored by a specialist four years ago. The original wood grain is artistic, has been very realistically painted and is made of walnut.  In terms of security, this safe has a lot to offer: The upper steel part of the safe weighs an estimated 300 kg approximately.  Main lock: Double-bit key lock, Kromer Protector  Additional lock: Chubb lock  Circumferential locking system Double armour in the lock area Therefore, this safe is also approved as a gun cabinet. All keys are available and included and they function perfectly. The door moves smoothly and closes as if “vacuum sealed”. The interior drawers are missing. The cabinet has two parts.
