Art Vannes - Artistic crystal centrepiece
Artistic crystal centrepiece made in France by Art Vannes. Collector’s item. Flower shaped design, signed, made in the early 1960s, beautifully hand-crafted. Since the ART Vannes FRANCE furnaces were only in operation from 1950 to 1970, this beautiful piece is considered a very special discovery. Engraved on base: ‘Art Vannes France’ on bottom. Very slight surface scratches due to age / wear / use. Three felt pads are placed under the base. Dimensions: H 28 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm Short history: The crystal glassworks of Vannes-le-Châtel is a company founded in the middle of the 18th century, the Mazirot Countess of Reims, in the village of Allamps in Lorraine. Since 1986, it was a branch of Daum Society of Nancy. Its buildings were in the IGPC since 1999.
