Very beautiful, complete 70-piece 23/24 carat hard gold plated luxury cutlery set by SBS Solingen in the rare lockable original tapestry case “Comtessa” wit 2 functional combination locks. Mint condition. Unused. Consisting of:
12 dinner spoons
12 dinner forks
12 dinner knives
12 teaspoons
12 dessert forks and
10 different serving utensils like ladle, cake server, sugar tongs, etc. (see i.a. photos 12-15). The pieces of this cutlery set have an engraved crown (the SBS logo) and are marked with “23/24 KARAT HARTVERGOLDET” (23/24 carat hard gold plated). The knife blades are marked with SBS (in a crown) “ROSTREI EDELSTAHL” (stainless steel) - (photos 16-18). Beautiful decor on both sides. Sizes of the case: 45 cm x 32 cm x 9 cm. SBS logo in the case. At the time, the retail price of this set without the case was DM4,182.00 / €2,138.22 and the retail price of the case model “Comtessa” was DM398 / €203.49 (see photos 19-21).
