Amazing cigarette dispenser with music box made by Swiss company Reuge. The dispenser was made in Florence, Italy, in the 1940s/50s, in onyx and silvery embossed metal. Decorated on top with a miniature of Cupid with arrows; the feet are decorated with grotesque masks.
Unfortunately, it lacks both the small mechanism that opens the doors, and the winding key. Once wound, the music box works perfectly, playing "Strangers in the night".
Very beautiful collector's item. The detailed pictures are an integral part of its description.
