Old travel trunk with wooden slats, covered with pigskin. Patterns formed with brass and copper nails with a main plate and a lock marked "Au bon marché".
The outer reinforcements are made of wood with brass and gilded copper nails. The corners are reinforced and hemmed with shaped and nailed leather. Inside, there are two removable compartments on a fixed compartment at the bottom. In good used condition with some damaged areas, especially the leather straps on the front. From the early 1900s.
A lovely decorative piece which can be used as is.
