Baccarat crystal wine carafe, Malmaison model made of crystal cut with wide flat sides.
The Malmaison décor (or Compiegne, the carafe being common to these two sets), with its wide flat sides is a great classic at Baccarat. In 1921 a special catalogue was published with all the models of this set: almost all forms of Baccarat were declined with this décor.
Our carafe is signed Baccarat (produced after 1936, date on which the crystal factory started to affix an acid etched stamp on its productions).
This is the great 1 litre model.
It is in good condition, crystal clear. With a light white veil on the bottom.
