About the producer: Domaine de Laballe is a unique estate nestling on the border between the Landes and the Gers. The vineyard is planted on a unique terroir, rare and not very extensive, called Sables fauves, a soil renowned in Armagnac for providing freshness and minerality. Domaine de Laballe has been in the Laudet family since Jean Dominique bought the property in 1820. Today, the estate is run by the 8th generation, represented by Cyril and his wife Julie. From the work on the vines and the soil, through to the vinification and ageing, everything is done to extract the maximum typicity from this unique terroir.
