Very old cast iron mechanical piggy banks, made in England
We found these 2 collectibles in the attic of a deceased collector of old toys.
They are mechanical piggy banks from the 1940s and 50s made of painted cast iron. Made in England
They both work and are in great vintage condition.
Place a coin in their hands and pull the small handle on the back of the figure and they will swallow the coins and roll their eyes.
They are 14 cm tall and 11 cm wide and weigh between 1500-1600 grams each.
From left to right it is :
A) Jolly man bank in red, stamped John harper & CO, England on the bottom (the green you see on his back is because we've deleted the N-word in the images, which we don't want to advertise, but it's obviously on the figure in real life).
B) Lady Dinah in curry yellow, without stamps on the bottom.
Packed securely and sent with insurance.
