Exclusively for Velier Live 2024, Velier has selected four special distillations by Capovilla, created by the maestro at the end of the last century for a friend of his who died prematurely. The stock, left aside since then, was rediscovered by Luca Gargano, who decided to buy it and give it a new life, creating this label and naming it Century, precisely because the bottlings date back to the late 1990s. These are therefore four unique and unrepeatable distillations. Moscato fior d'arancio grape brandy This unique brandy is made from a strain of Moscato Giallo grapes, known as Moscato Fior d'Arancio, which is characteristic of the Euganean Hills, in the province of Padua. This particular grape was chosen by Maestro Capovilla for its renowned spicy and floral accents. The distillate is obtained through a double-pass bain-marie process, which emphasises its distinctive notes.
