"Army Hinomaru Amulet Flag" I knew this existed, but this was the first time I had the item. This is an amulet that soldiers wear around their necks. It can be described as an amulet cloth/amulet flag. It is worn by soldiers on the battlefield under their clothes to pray for their safety. It was actually used on the battlefield. On the cloth is written "Namu Amidabutsu 南無阿弥陀仏". This means "I take refuge in the Buddha. In other words, it means "to have eternal life". This word has been used in Japan since ancient times. Please understand the situation as these are very old and have stains, holes, tears and repairs. Carefully packaged and shippped from Japan. Other rare items are also available in my current auction. Please check them out.
