The higher proportion of sherry barrels compared to other whiskies in the range gives it more complexity and aromatic intensity. Its floral character recalls some floral and heady perfumes. This 18-year-old version has a superb nose where the wood marries the fruit: notes of sherry, candied chestnut, roasted coffee and spices (cinnamon, ginger).
