Appony pattern (AB, AOG, AP, AV)
On the occasion of the 1867 World Exhibition in Paris, at a reception organized in honor of József Ferenc, the tables of the Elysée Palace were set with Apponyi-patterned Herendi sets. The sample made at the request of Count Albert Apponyi was created by enlarging a detail of the Indian flower basket (fleurs des indes). The clean and restrained pattern created in this way is painted in purple (AP), green (AV), orange (AOG) and blue (AB) by the Herend masters.

1 flower pot marked 7304/AV 12, diameter 13 cm. height 9.2 cm.

1 serving tray 201./AV 24 cm long, 20 cm wide, 4.5 cm high
