This Reed pump organ was made in the USA in the late 1800’s at Fort Wayne, Indiana. It was shipped to the U.K. over 100 years ago by my grandfather. He played it as he was a member of the Salvation Army. It is in working order and has recently had the bellows mended. The original carpet covered pedals have been worn through by the placement of feet. There is minimal damage to the woodwork but some wear caused by fingers around the stops. It could be shipped by a van equipped with a tail lift or on a trailer with ramps. The elaborate upper section with mirror can be easily detached to reduce its height and weight.
It has 5 octaves and has 12 stops and a Vox Humana. The stops are
Sub Bass 16ft, Octave coupler, Viola 4ft, Violina 4ft, Diapason 8ft, Dulcet Bass 8ft, Cello 16ft, Dulcet Treble 8ft, Melodia 8ft, Lute 4ft, Celeste 8ft, Delicato 4ft.
