In addition to the Maestro Vibrola and the “coarse” profile of the handle, it has all the hyper-accurate vintage specifications you could wish for: original construction methods, a real finish with red aniline dye, chemically recreated plastics, replicated electronics and more. The result is perhaps the SG Reissue with the best look, feel and sound ever. It is also characterized by the Heavy Aging finish made by the skilled artisans of the Murphy Lab. Murphy Lab's Heavy Aged finishing treatment, paired with heavily aged hardware, simulates decades of wear and tear, conferring the unique character, atmosphere and feel of an original Gibson's golden age.
