A well-preserved German violin which was made in the first half of the 20th century, in the region of Saxony. A particular violin making city that comes in mind for this instrument would most probably be Markneukirchen, assuming it was made somewhere around the 1920 - 1940 period. The bridge has been carved by hand and made to properly fit the instrument.
