Andrzej Rafalski. Born on April 5, 1957 in Grudziądz (Poland). In 1984, he graduated from polytechnic studies. The artist's favorite material is glass. In 1992, he collaborated with Western Ceramics in Toronto and took part in the exhibition of utility ceramics and glass in Toronto. Since then, he has participated in many group exhibitions presenting his own performances of applied art made of glass. For many months he worked with such glassworkers as Luigi Barbaro from Murano and Poul Jörgensen from Sweden. This cooperation resulted in a joint exhibition in Bornholm (Öland Island, Sweden) in 1998. In 1998, he established cooperation with the company "Cristal Amber Rosenthal" and "Vitra Design Museum" (Germany). He constantly cooperates with other creators and designers in the design and implementation phase of functional forms, as well as elements of interior design (lamps, plafonds, water curtains, tables). The works designed and made by the artist are in many private collections, in companies and museums in the country and abroad. The artist belongs to the Warsaw District of the Polish Association of Visual Artists.
