Pre-owned Rolex Daytona 16519. The Rolex Cosmograph ref. 16519 is a particular white gold variant of the Daytona chronograph only available with a leather strap and folding clasp. This Daytona is in white gold with a beautiful MOP (mother of Pearl) dial: this material is found in the outer coating of pearl, which is why it is named so. Its most distinguishing feature is its iridescence, which makes it appear to change colour when viewed from different angles. As already happened in the past, the caliber used is not manufactured but is the result of the profound reworking of one of the best commercial chronograph movements, in this case the cal. 400 Zenith. Screw buttons and Triplock crown allow water resistance up to 100m / 330ft. A bit of its story: Introduced in 1961, it was equipped with the characteristic Oyster case, distinguished by a screw-down case back and crown and pump pushers.
