Hello Collector Friends, in this rare case I must make a necessary premise before describing this lot. When this model car popped out from one my collection boxes I was very surprised. So many memories. This model is dated 1973 and was realized by Monsieur Jacques Simonet of the hyper famous shop in Le Mans "Manou Auto Sport" (closed in 2016) - Mr. Simonet was the first maker of "special models" in France, starting back in 1969 with rough but very interesting 1/43 model cars. The first real alternative to Solido and Dinky etc in Europe. I was amazed to find this model with this building quality; I remember these Manou to be less ... well ... less "good and attractive". They had rough resin and rough building standards; while this one is really nice. This is a little piece of model cars history. Useless to say, this model is VERY rare. Unfortunately Jacques Simonet prematurely left us in january 2020 aged 73. ******* Manou Auto Sport 1/43 Maserati 151/2 Coupé Competizione - Press Presentation Le Mans 1963 - red professionally built many years but very good indeed - offered inside a standard die-cast plastic case - with the very early ABC wire wheels without a reserve price - good luck with your bidding - Maserati and Le Mans collectors should not miss this opportunity ... you will not see these models offered again soon ... :-) ...
