The phone has still his lovely original fabric cord and a beautiful enamelled dial.

The National Bell Telephone Company was founded in Scotland by Graham Bell in 1877. In 1880, the American Bell Telephone Company split itself from the company. The International Bell Telephone Company started its first foreign branch in Antwerp under the name of Bell Telephone Manufacturing Company in 1882.
