Here is superb and pristine fluorite cube (5.4 cm edge) of sea blue colour with remarkably textured surfaces due to natural dissolution inside the vein.
Notice the top right corner, an ancient cleavage surface totally healed with small dissolution faces.
The cube is complete, with a back side naturally detached and fluid-etched as well.
You can also see the more intense blue core zonation, visible from the back of the crystal.
A beautiful blue fluorite from a modern and very limited find in the small and now inaccessible Margou mine!
Such blue treasures from small localities in the Albi district are really hard to obtain.
