A cloisonne tile de Porceleyne Bottle of the Reformed Church (Hervormde Kerk) in Oostvoorne, South Holland, the Netherlands. The Herv. Church is a three-aisled church with an unarticulated tower with a pear-shaped spire. The lower part of the tower, with angled buttresses at the base, dates from around 1300. The higher angled masonry at the corners probably belongs to the original stone spire. The tower was raised in the middle of the 15th century, when the current nave was erected. In 1612 the church burned down. When it was rebuilt in 1627-28, the tower was given its current spire, and the choir was no longer built. The nave was plastered in the mid-19th century and provided with a consistory on the east side (1853). The church was restored in 1948.
Dimensions: 11.5 x 11.5 x 1 cm.
Weight 270 grams.
The tile is in excellent condition.
The shipment takes place via Post NL. The package will be sent insured and registered.
