“Campo Casalvegri” is a Valpolicella Classico Superiore that originates from a blend of native vines of the area, Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara. The vines of these varieties grow in the most historic area of ​​Valpolicella, in vineyards with a hilly profile facing east, at a height between 150 and 300 meters above sea level, characterized by a limestone and clay subsoil. Once the grapes arrive in the rooms used for winemaking at Ca' La Bionda, they ferment spontaneously, thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts, in steel wine vessels at a controlled temperature. We then proceed with the refinement, in which the wine remains for 18 months in 30 hectoliter oak barrels, before being bottled and marketed.
