Here we have a superb 19th Century oil on canvas English School. This painting features a corridor in St George’s Chapel in Windsor. The candles cast a yellow hue throughout the interior, you can almost feel the cool chill and the sounds of footsteps echoing within the walls. An excellent atmospheric piece. It is signed indistinctly and dated 1882 verso. A wonderful painting that would grace any wall in your home.
