The story is a translation of “Absent-minded fireman”, illustrated by Carl Barks and originally published in Walt Disney Comics & Stories (USA) in November 1947. In addition, this first issue contains a contest to win one of thousand Kienzle wrist watches. (Source: De Koninklijke Bibliotheek).
