Up for auction is a rare collectors' quality Certina military watch from my private collection. The case number (1431553) would date it to 1948/9. The untouched dial (new glass) measures 28.00mms without the original crown and the new velour suede strap will fit a wrist to 19.80cms. The calibre #400 movement (rare) has just been serviced (cost 75€ inc. the new glass) and the watch is keeping time.
