This Datsun Z is a restomod, not a classic restoration. The car is in Antwerp, Belgium and all areas were improved in 2017 (suspension, brakes, drive and bodywork), the original, matching numbers block runs with 180 hp (instead of 145hp), wonderful. The custom stainless steel exhaust with ceramic-coated spaghetti manifold and three double Weber carburetors comes from the racing world, it sounds like music to the ears. The body was addressed from head to toe with custom, carbon fibre parts and painted in Bentley Verdant Green Pearl, a variation on British Racing Green with a subtle, black pearlescent effect. The 17" bronze Rota RB-X rims with semi-slick tyres finish it off. The brakes had a welcome upgrade and the BC-Racing coil-over shock absorbers are fully adjustable in height, suspension and damping. The 4-speed gearbox was replaced by a revised 5-speed one from a 280zx and equipped with a lightweight flywheel and sports clutch. This ensures it shifts very quickly and efficiently without compromising on comfort. As icing on the cake we have the original sales receipt, tool set, spare tyre and other documents.
