Designed in 1977 (the golden age), the Setton AS-3300 has incredible class! It is one of the great references for vintage items created during that time. It is highly sought after as well. Across the Atlantic, American audio enthusiasts love it!! Inside and out, the materials used are very highly quality. The outside is aluminium brushed to create a beautiful effect. This one is actually 8 millimetres thick in certain places. The glass meter viewing windows are also quite thick (6 millimetres), and is slightly tinted in a pale rose colour. The design was created at the time by artistic director, Pierre Cardin. The electronic schematics conception was created in France. It was manufactured in Japan. The Setton AS-3300 has 6 terminals to plug in speakers, 2 excellent audiophile phono inputs with sensitivity settings, 2 aux inputs, 1 tuner input, 1 headphone jack, 1 micro input with adjustable level, adjustable bass, midrange and treble along with filters to choose the frequency range to adjust. In short, as you can see, it is a truly complete amplifier. The power cable is included. The amplifier delivers 55 watts per channel according to the maker’s form, but I personally think it’s more than that. It looks absolutely perfect for its age. Musically, I’ve had it working on the Klipsch Epic CF4. It is musically sublime, dynamic and precise.
