In this auction I am offering:
1 Russian teardrop mandolin, also called a Lukowitza mandolin.
This flat belly mandolin has a flat belly, a flat back with surrounding rib. Similar to the construction of the body of a guitar.
The mandolin looks really good for its age and is in collectable condition. No cracks or similar serious flaws.
A label with Cyrillic characters is inside the body.
The pulled-out strings can produce beautiful, clean-sounding tones. The right outer string needs to be replaced.
The instrument measures 62 cm in length and 25 cm in body width. Depth 8 cm.
