A very early Seidel & Naumann. The competition with Singer was at its peak and this machine states quite shamelessly: ‘Verbesserte Nähmaschine Singer’. The large capital letter ‘S’, the trademark of Singer, is also shown on the machine but here it represents the ‘S’ of “Seidel”, of course - in short an historically interesting sewing machine. It is in working condition, but runs heavy, with cover, but no working lock and key. This beautiful antique sewing machine is made in Dresden Germany and has the serial number 704286 By sliding the little button forward, the machine will overturn. The machine is still beautifully decorated, even the mother-of-pearl is still present. Length 51 cm. Width 25 cm. Height 31 cm. Will be carefully packaged and shipped with a track and trace code.
